Product description
The elastic protective coating for use with frame fixings.
The fischer corrosion protection spray protects zinc-plated long-shaft plugs from corrosion in line with general official approval for façade anchoring. The non-drip spray is applied after intensive mixing onto the head of the fixing from 15 to 20 cm away. The protective coating is completely dry after approximately 3 to 4 hours at + 0 °C. The fischer corrosion protection spray FTC-CP is temperature-resistant between - 25 °C and + 80 °C, as well as being salt and water-resistant. The spray is ideal for protecting metals requiring protection against corrosion alongside screws for fixing façade sub-structures.
- Protects screw head and anchor shaft against corrosion corresponding to building authority approval
- Permanently elastic, securely bonded protective surface with high abrasion resistance
- The all-rounder regarding corrosion protection: various possible uses
- Non-drip
- FTC-CP professionally prevents the penetration of moisture into the anchor shaft and securely protects the connection from corrosion - as required in the ETA assessments
- Once dry, the optimised formulation provides a long-lasting, elastic protective coating with a secure hold and a high abrasion resistance
- The thixotropic anti-corrosion agent is also ideally suited to other corrosion protection applications and thus offers a wide range of uses
Suitable for
- Thixotropic, bitumen-based anti-corrosion agent
- Good stability under load; non-drip, no spray mist
- Shake canister for at least 2 minutes from the time the mixing balls can be heard
- Spray as evenly as possible from a distance of 15 to 20 cm
- Ideal processing temperature +16 °C to +25 °C
- Quick-drying (dried through after 3-4 hours at 600 mµ and 20 °C)
- Temperature-resistant from -25 °C to 80 °C
- Salt and water-resistant, and resistant to abrasion
- With one can about 300 screw heads can be coated
Building materials
- Galvanised frame fixing
- Corrosive metals
Application
- Façade anchorings in line with the assessments for frame fixings, e. g. SXR, SXRL and DuoXpand
- For all substructures, e. g. made from wood, aluminium, metal
